What should I do if my insurance policy is expiring soon?
We recommend that you contact your insurance agent a few weeks prior to your insurance policy expiring. At Arora Insurance Agency, we periodically check your personal files for this information and reach out to you in a timely fashion.

Can my auto insurance policy be canceled early and without penalty?
We generally do not recommend customers to cancel an auto insurance policy early as the customer will continue to be responsible for remaining premiums. The remaining premiums are not relevant if the customer disposes of the insured asset or attains a replacement insurance policy. We can assist our client to cancel, renew or replace the insurance policy with no fees or penalties assessed by our firm.

If I cancel my insurance policy, how long does it take to receive a refund?
It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks to process a policy that gets cancelled. The customer must submit a Notice of Cancellation Endorsement which is processed by the insurance carrier. The insurance carrier refunds the premium to our firm and we forward this to the client immediately after.

What is a Notice of Cancellation? If I receive one, how does it affect me?
A Notice of Cancellation is basically a cancellation of the insurance policy and can be sent for a variety of reasons such as failure to submit required payment, failure to submit necessary paperwork, misrepresentation and more. The Notice itself should state the reason. If you are concerned there was a mistake or prior notification wasn't given, please contact us so we can reach out to the insurance carrier on your behalf to rectify the situation.

What is the process to report a claim?
You can report a claim by notifying us or reach out to the insurance carrier directly. We are available from the beginning to file your claim and will continue to monitor the claim status until it is processed. We understand that you may have questions or concerns throughout the process and our staff is readily available to address all your insurance needs.

Do I need to notify my insurance carrier if I renovate my property?
An insurance policy is an agreement between the insurance carrier and you, the insured. The insured has a duty to report any changes that occur to the property during the policy term as per the insurance agreement. Renovation to the property is a change that must be reported. If renovation is not reported and a potential claim arises, there is a possibility that the insurance carrier may deny the claim due to breach of contract and or other reasons.
